We recommend starting with 2-3 classes per week to allow your body to adapt to the new movements while building consistency. As you become more comfortable with the exercises, you can increase frequency. Many of our clients find that 3-4 sessions per week provides optimal results.

Yes! Many of our clients report feeling stronger, more flexible, and more aware of their posture within just a few weeks. Physical changes like improved muscle tone typically become noticeable within 4-6 weeks of consistent practice. The key is consistency and patience with yourself.

Wear comfortable, form-fitting athletic wear that allows you to move freely. Fitted clothing helps our instructors see your alignment and provide corrections. Avoid loose or baggy clothing that might get in the way during floor exercises. Most clients prefer leggings or fitted shorts with a supportive top.

We provide high-quality mats and all necessary props at the studio, so you don't need to bring your own. However, if you prefer to use your own mat, you're welcome to bring it. We also recommend bringing a small towel and a water bottle for your comfort.

We recommend having a light snack 1-2 hours before class. Avoid heavy meals immediately before exercising, as some Pilates movements involve lying on your stomach or curling forward. A small piece of fruit, yogurt, or a handful of nuts provides good energy without weighing you down.

No shoes needed! Pilates is practiced barefoot or in grip socks. Barefoot is preferred as it helps you feel the floor and engage your feet properly. If you prefer socks for hygiene or warmth, choose socks with grips on the bottom to prevent slipping.

Yes, when practiced with certified prenatal instructors like ours. Our Pregnancy & Postpartum classes are specifically designed to support your changing body through each trimester. We focus on exercises that strengthen your core and pelvic floor, improve posture, and prepare your body for labor. Always consult with your healthcare provider before starting any exercise program during pregnancy.

Most women can begin gentle postpartum Pilates 6-8 weeks after a vaginal delivery, or 10-12 weeks after a C-section, with their doctor's clearance. Our postpartum classes focus on reconnecting with your core, healing diastasis recti, and safely rebuilding strength. We recommend all new moms complete our specialized prenatal intake form.

Our complimentary on-site babysitting is available during all pregnancy and postpartum classes. Simply book the service when you reserve your class spot. We accept infants through preschool-aged children (0-5 years). Our caring babysitters are background-checked and trained in infant care. Space is limited, so we recommend booking in advance.

First trimester: Focus on maintaining fitness while managing fatigue and nausea. Second trimester: Avoid exercises lying flat on your back; emphasize side-lying and seated positions. Third trimester: Emphasize pelvic floor work, breathing techniques for labor, and movements that relieve common discomforts like back pain. Our instructors are trained to adapt every exercise to your stage.

We require at least 8 hours notice for class cancellations. Late cancellations (less than 8 hours) and no-shows will be charged for the class. For unlimited members, repeated late cancellations may result in a temporary booking restriction. We understand emergencies happen—please contact us if you have extenuating circumstances.

You can book classes through our online schedule page or by calling the studio. We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance as our intimate class sizes (max 15) fill up quickly. New clients should arrive 15 minutes early for their first class to complete any remaining paperwork and meet the instructor.

Absolutely! We offer a drop-in rate of $17 for single classes, which is perfect for trying us out. Many clients start with a drop-in to experience our studio atmosphere and teaching style before choosing a monthly membership.

To ensure the safety and experience of all clients, we cannot admit anyone more than 5 minutes after class has started. This policy protects the warm-up sequence, which is essential for preventing injury. Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to settle in and prepare for class.

Monthly memberships can be paused for up to one month per calendar year for medical reasons or extended travel (2+ weeks). We do not offer refunds on unused portions of monthly memberships, but we do offer class credits for medical emergencies with documentation. Please speak with our front desk for specific situations.
